I'm Mara and I'm currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing with a concentration in fiction. I write fantasy, sic-fi and paranormal YA. I'm originally from Puerto Rico, so if you want to speak some Spanish, you're welcome to! I'm also the YA reviewer for Girls in Capes Magazine, an online magazine focusing on women, men and minorities in geek and pop culture. My interests lie in writing, reading mostly YA, anime and manga, and video games. You'll be seeing a mix of all of these, but especially writing since I'm entering the thesis stage. Shenanigans about this will ensue. Stay tuned for more updates!
